What should I do after the tour?
You’ve conquered the West side of central London - now it’s time for the East.
The coolest way to get to Borough Market is to take the Uber boat from Westminster Pier to London Bridge City Pier (approx £10).
Alternatively, you can get there faster and cheaper by taking the underground from Westminster Station to London Bridge Station.
1. Travel To borough market
Most people are very hungry after the tour and want to eat straight away near where the tour finishes. If you do this, perhaps you could grab something sweet for dessert at Borough Market.
If you can hold out for long enough, you can have lunch at Borough Market!
Have a pint in this historic pub which was built next to the site of the Inn where Chaucer set the beginning of The Canterbury Tales in the year 1400 (at least that’s what I tell my mum when I go and drink a load of pints in there).
Walk across London’s most iconic bridge.
Admire this 1000 year-old tower from the outside for free. For a closer look, you can go inside for £37.
If you visit the cathedral when there is a service or choir, you can go inside for free. I recommend going in to watch the choir (every day at 5pm and 3pm on Sundays).
